All in all, he did a nice job. He stuffed 17-of-20 tries, allowing one in each round. Round 2 was the lone frame in which Perez was able to make some offensive headway. In the other ten minutes, he simply didn't generate enough to earn the decision. Now 31 years of age, Alex hasn't fought much lately, and when he has, it hasn't gone well. Perez disclosed March 26 in a post on his personal Instagram account that he withdrew from his flyweight matchup with Manel Kape at last month's UFC event in San Antonio after experiencing a seizure in his pre-fight warmup.
